OUR SERVICE AREA IN EGYPT

Surveying and Contracting on the North Coast, Alamein and Matrouh

Alexandria is our natural starting point for the North Coast. From Alamein to Matrouh the area has resort and residential projects, and coastal sites need care with levels, sand dunes and tying in control points before design.

What we most often do here

  • Topographic surveys of coastal land and resorts
  • Setting out units, internal roads and networks
  • Cut and fill on sandy sites
  • Quantity take-off and contracting according to scope

Technical note

The North Coast lies west of 30°E in UTM zone 35N, while many Cairo projects work in zone 36. We confirm the reference before handing files to a design team from elsewhere.

How we work on projects outside Alexandria

  1. You send the location, the type of work and any drawings or documents you have.
  2. We define the scope, deliverables and number of site visits before travelling.
  3. The written quote covers site work, office work and travel arrangements.
  4. We deliver the files digitally and go through them with you after delivery.

Services available in North Coast and Matrouh

  • Certified land survey: A certified survey measures a plot or building on site and produces a drawing of its boundaries, lengths, area and coordinates, in a form accepted by the body you will submit it to: the real-estate registry, the district office, the permit authority, or a court in a boundary dispute.
  • Topographic surveying: A topographic survey turns a site into a map of the ground shape, its levels and everything visible on it, such as roads, buildings and utilities.
  • Setting out: A small setting-out error can put a column in the wrong place and lead to demolition and rework.
  • Grid levelling: Grid levelling measures ground levels on a regular grid, showing where the land is high or low and how much cut or fill is needed to reach the design level.
  • Quantity surveying: A quantity take-off answers a simple question: what will be built, and how much of it? A clear table helps owners compare bids, helps contractors price and track work, and bases payment reviews on measurement instead of estimates..
  • As-built surveys: Many existing buildings have no drawings, or drawings that differ from what was built.
  • Land and boundary surveys: Before buying, dividing or building on land, you need to know its corners and real area on the ground.

FAQ

Do you work in North Coast resorts?

Yes. We accept coastal projects after confirming the resort location and type of work, and follow site management rules where they apply.

Why do quantities change on sandy sites?

Sand can move and the surface may change after a survey, so it is best to update levels close to the start of earthworks.
