Land Area Calculator from Coordinates
Enter the corner coordinates of a plot to get its area in m², feddan, qirat and sahm, plus the perimeter and a sketch.

How to use this tool
- Enter the corner coordinates in order around the plot (clockwise or anticlockwise), one corner per line.
- Coordinates are in metres (Easting, Northing), as on a survey sketch or from a total station.
- If you have latitude/longitude from GPS or Google Maps, tick "Coordinates are latitude/longitude".
- Press Calculate to see the area in m², feddan, qirat and sahm, the side lengths and a sketch.
FAQ
How many square metres is a feddan?
One feddan = 4,200.833 m² = 24 qirat. One qirat = 175.035 m² = 24 sahm. One sahm ≈ 7.293 m².
Can I use this result for registration or contracts?
No, it is an estimate. Property registration and boundary disputes need a certified field survey with precise instruments.
Why is the area different from my contract?
Differences can come from coordinate accuracy, corner order, or an approximate figure in the contract. If the gap is large, a field survey settles it.
