How much waste should I allow for tiles?

Usually 5–10% for straight laying, and up to 15% for diagonal patterns or rooms with many corners.

How many square metres does a litre of paint cover?

It depends on the paint and surface, usually 8–12 m² per litre per coat. Use the figure printed on the can.

Does the calculator estimate cost?
