Sokkia B40 Automatic Level

The Sokkia B40 is an automatic optical level from Sokkia of Japan, built for measuring elevation differences and performing levelling work on construction sites and civil projects. It provides 24× magnification with a 32 mm objective lens for clear, comfortable readings. A magnetic-damped compensator ensures a stable line of sight and automatic tilt correction within a ±15 arc-minute range, delivering accuracy of ±2 mm per kilometre double-run. Its IPX6-rated body withstands rain and dust in demanding field conditions. The Sokkia B40 is widely used for benchmarking, foundation levelling, road grading and ground-network surveys. Usage guide

Typical uses: transferring levels from benchmarks, setting foundation, floor and slab levels, slopes, drainage networks and roads, and longitudinal and cross-section levelling.
